Norfolk Dance Collective is a professional contemporary modern dance company aiming to share their passion for movement through works exhibiting resiliency, tenacity, and humanness.

After big doors closed in Fall of 2023, our dance community came together, leaned on each other, lifted each other up. We opened a door to explore this opportunity to evolve as dancers, as humans, as a community.

We have one main goal: to share our love and passion for dance with you.

As the sole professional contemporary modern dance company in Norfolk, Virginia, we are dedicated to using the art of dance as a transformative force for community betterment through inclusivity, cultural enrichment, and artistic expression.

Our focus is on performance, charitable dance programs and educational outreach, contributing to the well-being and cultural vibrancy of our community.
